The new 68,000 SF school is the fourth new elementary school BSA+A has completed for Christina School District in the last decade.

Porter Road Elementary School is designed to encourage social interaction as well as community involvement. The massing of the school compliments the surrounding neighborhood maintaining a child-friendly scale that proves welcoming and inviting, while a focus on natural light contributes to the sustainability of the building.

Educational clusters provide an equal set of classrooms and faculty space, as common perimeter classrooms accommodate fluctuation in enrollment. Each cluster utilizes a unique color identity, allowing students to easily find their way.
