Stanton Campus Sustainable Energy Training Center

$2.5 million / 6,200 SF     Newark, Delaware

After assisting Delaware Technical and Community College Stanton Campus in their application to verify the project’s eligibility for funding from the Global Climate Change Mitigation Initiative Fund, BSA+A was awarded the full design services of the new Sustainable Energy Training Center which will be a new, Silver LEED-certified building, housing facilities dedicated to the continued instruction of Green building theories and applications.  The building will house classrooms in support of the current Energy Management Program at the College.  The entire building will be a teaching tool with exposed interactive energy dashboards. Additionally, the building’s design  demonstrates sustainable strategies. This project will be completed in the Fall of 2012.
