This 3-year indefinite quantity commission included a challenging interiors planning and programming of multiple departments and divisions, and the relocation of over 750 employees. The first work effort included master planning the Danner Campus in Dover. BSA+A proposed concepts which developed the overall campus. The next task was to inventory existing spatial requirements and determine additional needs. The BSA+A team developed an overall strategic plan that included multiple department moves over a period of time. It included site planning, space planning, a conceptual study, pedestrian and vehicular circulation, and an extensive identity and signage package. From the master plan’s options and recommendations, the owners determined that the construction of a 30,000 SF multi-story building with a joint atrium connecting it to existing the 100,000 SF administration headquarters was needed and they hired BSA+A to complete this project. BSA+A also designed the campus-wide multi-purpose cafeteria and meeting spaces.
